Long-term unemployment

The recovery officially began in December 2009, but unemployment has been above 8% longer than at anytime since the great depression – and does not take into account the drop in workforce participation or part-time employees still looking for meaningful work. Men lost jobs in the recession before 2009 & women have been losing jobs since. There is real trouble for 20+ something college grads with mortgage sized college loans & no job
